I hadn't tried a cooling vest before, but this looks and fits perfectly on our growing Boxer! It will definitely be an absolute lifesaver in the upcoming warmer months to keep her cool on our daily walks. It is really high quality, super easy to use, and the material is incredibly soft—I can tell it's very comfortable for her to wear. Overall, it's a fantastic product that I would highly recommend. An absolute godsend for the summer heat! My Jack Russell always follows me into our sunny backyard, but this lightweight vest keeps her completely cool. You just soak it, wring it out, and put it on. She is so comfortable and barely pants, even in 84-degree weather! Quick tip: Definitely size up (the Medium fit my small dog perfectly). A must-have for hot days!
I cannot stress how much of an absolute GODSEND this vest was for my dog! An unexpected heatwave on our summer vacation had me totally stressed about how he would cope. He’s quite small, and his black fur heats up so quickly that he usually doesn’t even leave the house during the hottest summer months. Since we were staying in an Airbnb, leaving him in the room wasn’t an option. The vest does get a little heavy when fully soaked, so it took him a minute to adjust, but I was amazed that he wasn’t even panting while wearing it! He stayed cool, comfortable, and was able to keep up with our busy vacation schedule. We obviously kept him in the shade when possible and away from hot pavement during peak hours, but without this vest, we would’ve been stuck indoors constantly. A literal lifesaver. Super easy to soak in water and reuse once it dries. Great quality and stitching. The medium fit him perfectly!
